Orders online, in the same system.

Let customers order ahead from your own site. Every online order uses the same catalog, prices and tax settings as your counter and lands in your back office — no second menu, no third-party tablet, no separate payout.

Online and counter, one queue.

An online order isn’t a silo. It is built from the same catalog as a walk-in — same items, same prices, same tax — and rings up into the same end-of-day.

Your storefront

A storefront, not a side system.

Six parts of your own online store, in the order a customer meets them — on the same catalog and reports as the counter.

Your site, your menu

One shared menu

Your online menu is your catalog — edit a price once and it updates the counter and the site together. No second menu to keep in sync.

Order ahead, pay at pickup

Customers place the order on your site and pay when they collect it. You ring it up on the terminal, so tax, tips, and receipts follow your normal rules.

Every order lands in Activities › Online Orders with the customer's details and notes, ready to ring up at pickup.

Once an online order is rung up, it is an ordinary sale in the same end-of-day reporting, with the same tax.

No marketplace commission.

POS Velocity does not charge a per-order marketplace commission. The order and customer record remain in your system, while standard card-processing costs still apply.

An online order arrives.

A customer places a pickup order through the storefront. It appears under Activities › Online Orders, built from the same menu, prices, and tax settings as the counter.

Ring it up at pickup.

When the customer arrives, you ring the order up on the terminal like any other sale. When a menu item is updated, the saved change is shared across the counter and the site.

Online and in-store sales share reporting.

Once rung up, an online order is an ordinary sale: end-of-day reporting shows it with the counter's sales, along with the related tax and tips. POS Velocity charges no per-order marketplace commission; standard card-processing costs still apply.

Running your own storefront.

Do I need to rebuild my website to take online orders?

No. Add the storefront script to the site you already have and place the menu, cart, and checkout elements where you want them — they use your own catalog and prices, on your own domain.

Is there a commission on online orders?

No. There's no per-order marketplace commission — your only payment cost is normal card processing. The order and the customer record stay yours.

Do online orders sync with my counter sales?

Online orders use the same catalog and tax settings as the counter and arrive under Activities › Online Orders. Ring each one up on the terminal at pickup and it joins the same end-of-day reports as walk-ins. Edit a price once and it updates the counter and the site together.

How do customers pay?

Orders are placed on your site and paid at pickup, on your terminal — the storefront itself does not take a card. If you need payment before pickup, send a payment link by text, email, or QR code (available once a payment gateway is set up for your account).

Do returning customers get accounts?

Yes. Customers can create an account, confirm their email, and reset a forgotten password, and sign-ups are added to your contacts, matched by email. Online ordering is an optional module.

We'll load your real menu into a storefront and run an online order end to end — from the website to the counter.
